🚨 What’s New?
- In May 2025, HISD launched Version 1 (V1) of the Transportation Request Survey.
- As of July 3, about 30,000 families have responded!
- Now, HISD is rolling out an improved Version 2 (V2) of the survey. This version is the one families should complete going forward.
📝 What Do Parents Need to Submit the Survey?
Parents will need either:
• Their student’s ID number and birthday,
OR
• Student’s first and last name, birthday, and last 4 digits of SSN.
🚨 Important: This year, campuses are not submitting transportation requests for students.
Parents must complete the request themselves using the new survey.
🗓️ Deadline to guarantee transportation on the first day of school (FDOS): July 28
Requests submitted after that date will still be accepted, but may cause delays.
